Project Velcro connects students with the UVU campus through personalized service, intentional advisement, and engagement opportunities.
This coordinated effort supports retention of our students, strengthens their academic achievement, and enhances their student experience.
Mission
As Advisors and Counselors, providing students with a list of campus resources or contacts is a key responsibility. In addition, Advisors and Counselors will make the initial contact to the approriate service provider (resource contact) via phone or email on the student's behalf. It's proactive. The Resource Contact will then call or email the student providing needed information, services, or opportunites for engagement.

The resource sheet is in its first iteration. As advisors / counselors uncover new resources to be added to this list, please leave your comments for all to see. As we generate new resources, we can expand the current version.
