Welcome to the Podcast Action Learning Group Page

In our most recent meeting, Carrie and Jessie showed us how to develop a sound file that might be used for a podcast using a software program called Audacity.

Here is a link to the website where you can download a free copy of this.

http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

If you need to borrow a microphone to record your file, please let us know. We can lend one to you. We would also be happy to show you how to use the software.

Once you have done this, you need to simply save the following file to your computer and export and save your sound recording as an MP3 file. This may require some guidance, if you need help just call advisor training.

libmp3lame-3.zip

In our next meeting, yet to be scheduled, we will learn how to use these sound files to create true podcasts.

Members of the action learning group will also be submitting a presentation to the summer advising conference to share what they have learned with additional advisors.
